NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

This page displays the multiple public meetings which take place at the Provo Library and that are hosted by non-profit, 501(c)(3), organizations. Any member of the public is permitted to attend these events.

The following meetings are open to any member of the community and are entirely free to attend. These meetings also present information useful to the general public.

All organzations hosting these events are either registered non-profits or are governement entities representing the citizens of Provo.

TRASHBIRD DISTRO

Trashbird Distro is a Utah County-based anarchist collective built on a foundation of tight-knit local community, meeting face to face, empowering and inspiring each other to create, live, and thrive in joyful resistance. Community meetings are used to review past and current events, brainstorm potential future events, and discuss community issues

UTAH VALLEY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Utah Valley Historical Society offers lectures on topics relevant to Utah’s and the American West’s history monthly from September through May. The Wasatch Range Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution supports the 3-fold mission of Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism. We give service to active military units, veterans, first responders, schools, and other programs within our local communities. We are open to the public.

This is our monthly meeting in which we discuss how to make Provo more pedestrian and bicycle friendly. BikeWalk Provo advocates for street design and culture that makes it safe, convenient, and fun for all people to move around by bike or foot.

Weber State University will be hosting an open house in Provo, open to the public so that any interested parties can learn about the university, and everything we have to offer. Light refreshments will be provided.

MAN TALK

MAN TALK presented by The Men of Good Will of Discover Identity.

Man Talk is a non-denominational men's meeting, where men come to lean, grow, and share. Topics vary, and center around emotional health, spirituality, healthy masculinity, and personal growth. All men are welcome to attend.

Note: Discover identity offers similar programs for women.

Have you or someone you know ever considered being a foreign exchange student? Rotary Youth Exchange is one of the largest programs in the world. Come learn about our program and how you can have a life changing experience in another country. For students who will be age 15-18 during their time abroad.
