This page displays the multiple public meetings which take place at the Provo Library and that are hosted by non-profit, 501(c)(3), organizations. Any member of the public is permitted to attend these events.
The following meetings are open to any member of the community and are entirely free to attend. These meetings also present information useful to the general public.
All organzations hosting these events are either registered non-profits or are governement entities representing the citizens of Provo.

Join Engage: A Forum for Civic Renewal for the inaugural meeting of the Engage Book Group! In this book group, we not only want to appreciate great ideas, we also want to discuss what we do with those ideas to become more active and effective citizens.
Our first book, Politics Is For Power by Eitan Hersch, is a perfect fit. It challenges well-meaning citizens to move beyond political hobbyism and start building real tools for improving our communities and our government. George Handley will share how this book influenced his decision to found Engage, then we will open it up for discussion so we can all leave with a concrete civic action to take. We hope to see you there!

Daughters of Utah Pioneers (DUP) Provo Company is dedicated to honoring names and achievements of men, women and children who founded Utah. Invited guest speakers from Provo, Utah County present varied topics that enlighten, educate and inform everyone. Our meetings are open to the public without charge. We meet on the first Monday at 1pm. in the months of March, April, May, October, and November.

The Utah Valley Historical Society offers lectures on topics relevant to Utah’s and the American West’s history monthly from September through May. MAN TALK presented by The Men of Good Will of Discover Identity.
Man Talk is a non-denominational men's meeting, where men come to lean, grow, and share. Topics vary, and center around emotional health, spirituality, healthy masculinity, and personal growth. All men are welcome to attend.
Note: Discover identity offers similar programs for women.
