DONATING TO THE LIBRARY

Support Your Library

The Provo City Library fundraises in partnership with The Provo Foundation. The Provo Foundation exists to encourage broad public support and interaction in arts, public services, health and welfare, and education in Provo.  They are a 501(c)(3) organization and are supportive partners in efforts to gather donations for the Provo City Library.

Projects funded through donations include:

  • 2024 - New blinds for the Historic Ballroom
  • 2025 - Additional funds to maintain purchasing levels for ebooks and audiobook collection on Libby.

General Donations

The Library accepts donations to impact the wide variety of programs and services provided by the Library.  Gifts can be made to support the Library in general, or requests that funds be used in a specific way can be made.  Please contact the Library Director if you have questions about how funds will be used and include any requests in the “Add note/comment” section of the form.

Recurring or monthly donations

Recurring giving is an easy, automatic way to support the library that works for your budget and schedule.  By setting up a recurring monthly, quarterly, or annual gift, you will know you are supporting what matters most to you.

Make a Legacy Gift

With a legacy gift you can ensure a continuing place for our library in the community.  A gift made in memory of a person or in honor of an individual or an event – including an anniversary or milestone – is a meaningful way to provide an enduring tribute to someone or something significant in your life.

  • Legacy Gifts include
    • A gift by will or trust
    • A gift by beneficiary designation
    • A gift in honor or in memory of someone

Donate to or sponsor our Annual Book Ball Fundraiser

Our annual Book Ball is our largest fundraising event of the year.  This event includes a dancing, food, and fun activities throughout the evening.  If you would like to sponsor this event please contact the Library Director.

Sponsor a Program

The library presents hundreds of library events each year for a wide variety of audiences often including hundreds of attendees.  If you or your business is interested in sponsoring an event, please contact the Library Director.  Sponsors will be noticed on signage and promotions where appropriate.
