MATERIAL DONATIONS
Donating Materials to the Library
The Provo City Library will gladly accept your book and media donations.
What donations are best:
- The Library will accept books, books on CD, and DVDs
- The Library will accept puzzles in good condition
- The Library will accept board games in good condition
- The Library will accept video games rated E-T in good condition for any video game system
What donations to avoid:
- Please no magazines
- Please no VHS tapes or audio cassette tapes
- Please no textbooks
- Please no books in poor physical condition
Where to drop off donations:
- The First Floor Reference Desk
- The donation box located near the DVD collection on the First Floor
- The Circulation Help Desk
How to make a large donation:
- Park on the north side of the underground parking lot in a Curbside Pick-up spot and call the number listed or 801-852-6661. Library staff can meet you in the parking lot with a large cart.
- Large donations cannot be loose. They should be contained in closed boxes that can be stacked.
The Library does not guarantee that donated items will be added to the Library collection. Items not added to the Library collection will be offered for sale during one of our book sales or discarded.

La Biblioteca aceptará gustosamente su donación de libros y de media de visión o música.
- Por favor, no aceptamos revistas
- No aceptamos películas que tengan la categoría de “R”
- No aceptamos libros de texto
Dejar sus donaciones en:
- 1st Floor Reference Desk (Escritorio de Referencia del primer piso)
- La caja de donación localizada en el cuarto donde estatienda de libros usados en el primer piso.
- Circulation Help Desk (Escritorio de Circulación)
Los libros deben estar en condición aceptable.
- No deben tener moho
- No deben tener paginas manchadas o coloreadas
- No le deben faltar páginas
Los artículos que no son añadidos a la colección van a ser ofrecidos de venta durante una de las ventas de libros o descartado.
