Learn painting techniques and walk away with a finished painting. Click on the link to get a list of needed supplies.

This class will be offered through Zoom.   Participants will need to provide their own supplies. A sample of what we'll be painting can be found at the right of the screen.

Supplies Needed:

Make sure to wear something you don't mind getting paint on!

An easel is nice, but not necessary as long as you’ve got a way to prop your canvas against something sturdy.

An 8x10 or 11x16 canvas

Brushes (The nicer the brushes are, the easier painting will be.)

  • 1 flat 1-inch brush
  • 1 medium (1/4 inch) round head brush
  • 1 tiny as you can get, round brush

Water cup—one you can just throw away after

A paper plate or paint mixing palette

Paper towels

An 18-inch or 12-inch ruler

Hair Dryer

A pencil

Paints—Acrylic paint, not craft paint.  2-2.5 oz tubes are great.

  • White
  • Black
  • Dioxazine Purple
  • Hooker’s Green
  • Red and Yellow are nice, but not necessary
