Craft-along: Embroidered Florals

ZoomEmbroider a bouquet as we learn several different stitches to create beautiful, textured flowers.
Never embroidered before? No problem! Embroidery is a low-cost hobby that requires very few materials. This class is perfect for beginners.
This program will utilize the tutorial "Embroidered Florals" with Lauren of Lark Rising Embroidery; it is free for Provo City Library users on CreativeBug.
Required materials:
- Class PDF with tracing template, color guide, and section guide (download from CreativeBug)
- Embroidery thread (floss) - Lauren uses DMC brand. See color guide to choose your 16 colors
- Size 22 tapestry needle
- Size 5 embroidery needle
- 6" hoop
- A 9" square piece of fabric (linen-cotton blend)
- Light box (Lauren uses a Cricut light pad) or trace design using a window in your home
- Pilot Frixion erasable ballpoint pen (erasable with a heat gun, embossing heat tool, or hair dryer)
