Learn painting techniques and walk away with a finished painting. Registration required.
This class will be offered both in-person and via Zoom. The Library will provide supplies for those who attend in-person, but those who attend via Zoom will need to provide their own supplies. Below is a list of supplies the people attending in-person will be using, along with an example of what we'll be painting:
Supplies Needed:
Make sure to wear something you don't mind getting paint on!
An easel is nice, but not necessary as long as you’ve got a way to prop your canvas against something sturdy.
A 5x7 canvas
Brushes (The nicer the brushes are, the easier painting will be.)
Water cup—one you can just throw away after
A paper plate or paint mixing palette
Paper towels
An 8 oz. plastic cup to use for tracing
A ruler
A Hair Dryer will be useful if you're using a larger canvas than what the in-person class is using
A pencil
Paints—Acrylic paint, not craft paint. 2-2.5 oz tubes are great.
